This jacquard is a follow-up to successful "Thomas" of 2017's CITY ISLAND Collection. The design's ripple-patterning is defined by matte/dry linen chenille working alongside glowing viscose/cotton chenille. The result is purposely subtle. Depending on light and angle, sometimes the design is clearly visible and sometimes it's barely there. Textile magic, and fully reversible. A great and durable foundation for upholstery use. Bark

Though at first it may appear as wild abstraction, this full-coverage embroidery took inspiration from the organic patterning of tree bark. The "wow-factor" starts with 9 colors of viscose yarn, which define and add texture to each motif. Then, a specially-made, thick and loosely spun accent yarn is hand-sewn into the surface, adding high relief. The result is a visual and tactile delight and an impressive tour-de-force of the embroiderer's art.

The stripes, though traditionally woven, have been purposely designed to look as if they've been appliqued to the surface. Clever "stitches" have been woven right into the goods.
